Garden City Home Hardware Building Centre is located in the west end of St Catharines, Ontario. Nestled on the corner of Fourth Ave and Third Street Louth, just past the hospital. With it’s a newly renovated and re-stocked 25,000 square foot store, lumber yard, and on-site garden centre, Garden City Home Hardware Building Centre has all the resources needed for any DIY and home building projects.

Garden City Home Hardware is a sister store of GrandErie Home Hardware Building Centre located in Dunnville, Ontario. After operating for more than 25 years, GrandErie Home Hardware was looking to expand its business profile and this location in St.Catharines was the perfect fit. GrandErie purchased the very well-respected, family-owned Kala’s Home Hardware Store. The family feel of the Kala’s store was exactly what they were looking for, so in October 2019, Garden City Home Hardware Building Centre was born.

Many improvements and renovations have been made to the building, and business operations, to better serve the community. The introduction of a full-service lumber yard, a building material service desk, as well as a convenient second entrance, are some of the biggest improvements. The interior of the store has also been completely re-merchandised to create a better shopping experience for all customers – homeowners and contractors alike. We’re growing to serve you better.
